Privacy Policy

DonePoints helps people organise household tasks, recognise effort and manage shared progress. This policy explains how we handle information when you use the DonePoints app and website. DonePoints is provided by Golden Deer Enterprises Limited, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 15649106), registered office 41 St. Georges Road, Enfield, England, EN1 4TY - we are the data controller for the information described below.

Information we collect

We process the account details you provide, such as your name and email address; authentication identifiers from Apple or Google when you choose those sign-in methods; and content you create in DonePoints, including Circles, tasks, shopping items, rewards, goals and memories. We also process essential technical information needed to authenticate your session, secure the service and diagnose failures.

How we use information

We use this information to provide and secure your account, synchronise your data, enable shared features, respond to support requests and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal information or use your household content for targeted advertising.

Service providers

DonePoints uses Supabase for authentication, database and storage services, Expo for app building, delivery and (where you enable notifications) push delivery, and Apple or Google when you select their sign-in services. If you subscribe to DonePoints Plus or Pro, payment is processed by Apple (App Store purchases) or by Stripe (purchases made on our website), and subscription status is validated through RevenueCat; none of these three see your DonePoints household content, only what's needed to process and verify payment. Our website also uses Plausible, a cookie-free analytics service, to measure aggregate visits - Plausible does not use cookies or track you across other websites. Every provider listed here processes information only to deliver its own service, under its own privacy terms.

Storage and retention

Account and Circle data is stored using access controls designed to limit it to authorised users. We retain information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You can export your information or permanently delete your account from the Account section of the app.

Your choices

You may update optional preferences, stop using social sign-in, export your data or delete your account in the app. Deleting your account removes associated DonePoints data, subject to limited retention where required by law or security obligations.

Children

DonePoints is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service develops. Material changes will be communicated through the app or website and the effective date above will be updated.
